Holiday on Ice is an experimental video assemblage of the artist performing an ice dancing routine from memory. Integral to the work are its flaws, history and time.

"In Holiday on Ice, visitors are placed within a recreation of the artist's childhood ice-dancing routine. As Banera performs the piece, her image glides panoramically across the space, immersing the viewer into the memory embedded in her body. Conjuring this vestige of her past self, Banera reconciles distant manifestations of creative practices and explores vulnerability of expression. Integral to the work are the imperfections in the routine, which elicit a sense of the artist's exposure."
